In an era marked by constant connectivity, academic pressure, performance expectations, and rapid social change, mental health has become one of the most important challenges of modern society — especially within the academic community. Students, student-athletes, and university staff are increasingly exposed to stress, burnout, anxiety, and the need to balance multiple responsibilities.
For this reason, the 4th International Scientific Conference “4 Healthy Academic Society” (4HAS), taking place on May 27–28, 2026, in Poreč, Croatia (with online participation available), places mental health and well-being in the academic community at the center of its program.
The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on how sport, physical activity, public policies, innovation, and scientific research can help build a healthier and more resilient academic environment.
Topics include:
- The impact of physical activity on mental health and stress resilience
- Prevention of burnout and anxiety through sport and recreation
- Mental health challenges in academic environments
- The relationship between sleep, exercise, and psychological stability
- Dual career in sport
- Physical and mental health of students, including students with disabilities
- Safety, sustainability, and the application of artificial intelligence in academic sport
Paper submissions are open until 1.4.
We invite students, researchers, and professionals to contribute with their work and help shape a healthier and more resilient academic future.
