Her work explores the intersection of sport, education, and personal development, with a focus on how sport can support educational pathways, strengthen social connections and community within teams, and leverage innovative approaches—including technology—to enhance participation and social support.

Expert in sport psychology, career development, and social inclusion

Dr. D’Angelo is Associate Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where she teaches and conducts research at the intersection of psychology, sport, and society.

Dr. D’Angelo’s research focuses on how sport can drive personal development, social inclusion, and professional growth. She is actively involved in the Research Unit in Psychology, Sport and Society and leads projects within CERISVICO, exploring sport-based approaches to community development.

With over 15 years of collaboration with ASAG, she has contributed to numerous action-research projects and advanced training programs.

Academic and international experience

Dr. D’Angelo has extensive international teaching experience, including roles as Visiting Professor at University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and guest lecturer at universities across Europe and Latin America.
